Ms. Kerr is a prolific healthcare entrepreneur and businesswoman. She is the Founder and President of MedEx Health Services Inc, Canada’s only black owned and accredited rehabilitation and home healthcare company. Ms. Kerr is an avid investor within the healthcare and real estate sectors.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Kerr is committed to philanthropy, earning recognition like the Bob Marley Toronto Humanitarian award in 2023. She’s also received accolades such as the Harry Jerome Entrepreneur Award and being named a 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women Honoree 2020. Ms. Kerr’s influence extends to numerous professional associations, including the Ontario Brain Injury Association, Ontario Long Term Care Association and Homecare Ontario Association.
Hasani Brissett is a versatile investment management sales professional with over 20 years of progressive capital markets and financial services experience. He has worked for and contributed to the rapid growth of some of Canada’s most innovative financial services companies such as Franklin Templeton Investments, Horizons Exchange Traded Funds (ETFS), and Questrade ETFs. Over the course of his career, he has personally raised over $1B for investment management companies and contributed to more than $500M in corporate capital raises.
Mr. Brissett’s expertise spans across many industries including Financial Services, SaaS, Energy, Real Estate, Agri-business and Healthcare. Hasani’s focus has been to facilitate the cross-pollination of institutional and high net worth investment opportunities between Canada and the Caribbean.
He helped to structure Jamaica’s first stand-alone Special Economic Zone. Mr. Brissett was instrumental in orchestrating the largest debt refinance for a Caribbean manufacturing company Trinidad Cement Limited. He is a change agent and value accelerator who combines his sales, marketing and structuring expertise to drive transformational results.
